     BP = British Petroleum. I was referring to the oil slick on your soup. It looks weird, but it looks good. I love ramen with a bunch of dried red habs thrown in!

Spicy Chicken Foot and Pork rib soup compliments of my dad's Thai lady friend. Really its not crappy at all but I think most people will see a chicken foot and not even try it.

Depends upon where you're at, not just "in the world" but in this country. I know plenty of people who use chicken feet almost exclusively when making stock and meals that use stock, as they have very little fat yet plenty of flavor. And yes, will even eat the edible parts. And no, the people are not all Asian. America really does have a great variety of traditions, be they food or otherwise - just gotta get out there and see for yourself!

… And tell your dad's Thai lady friend that her noodle dish looks awesome!
