Found a BC Rich Mockingbird Contour Deluxe online today. New in box. Scored it for $300 under MSRP! This will be our daughter's guitar as soon as she is old enough.

Sweet! Got the Mockingbird the other day and I just figured out it has coil splitting! I didn't know it had that. Jackpot!

I picked this one up in March but never got around to posting pics.

Well used but still in pretty good condition Prestige.

Over the last few months it has become my go to guitar for 80s-90s hard rock and Metal. The Wizard neck is amazingly fast and the aftermarket Dimarzio pups sound great.

Ooh! A guitar thread!!

Red, no other reason than that's what color they are...

And then there's black....ish. Warwick's Nirvana is really a deep tobacco in the right light...

And my alltime favorite bestest acoustic guitar ever, the Seagull "Model 6". They call them the "S6" now, but this is an early 80s model, and has the most sweetly seasoned cedar top I've ever heard...

Thanks for letting me share!!

Heh heh heh, used to play that one, along with The Trooper and Run to the Hills....

Our guitarist has one of these, it's a bright yellow, he plays it on ONE song we do, Perfect Strangers.

A couple new things.

Got me a bucket list item on a trip to CO Springs last May. 57 yrs old and NEVER owned a P.

I do now...

And this, a '68 Telecaster Bass, supposed to have belonged to both Tom Hamilton and Billy Nightshade, now in the hands of our Guitar Gawd Chuck.

I like my P better, history or no. The Tele plays nice, but is difficult to pull a decent tone out of.

Someone told me there's a pic of this Tele on page 50 of "The Illustrated History of the Fender Bass", but I don't own the book.....It's supposed to be one of the earliest made, some of the parts possibly leftovers from the original Precision run in 1951....

My new covid skill/hobby is buiding guitars.  I bought this LP body and neck  so didn't do any of the routing (except drilling a hole for a ground), but I did do the dye job and had my friend paint the embellishments. Soldered/wired all the components myself as well.  It looks better than I imagined.

Working on a tele now that will be walnut/vintage pearl pickguard/gold hardware and just started a strat body that I whitewashed and did a silver buff over to fill the grain.  The strat finish didn't come out quite how I envisioned but its not awful.  I'm already starting to plan my 4th build right now too, but this next build I'll build to sell.

I didn't know you played.

Love the pitchers of the puppers in the back ground.
I'm not very good, and I don't play very seriously so I never could justify the cost of a decent Les Paul.  But building it myself was so much fun and much cheaper. Now that I have this thing up and running I've been playing almost every day. I'm working on two more builds right now as well (a tele and a strat) and literally have a 4th guitar body in an online shopping cart as we speak.

I have a Warmoth strat build I did years ago.

Strat body.

Maple neck.

Gumby headstock.

Locking nut.

Washburn talent bar.

Solid guitar and gigged it some.

But haven't played it in years.

The Washburn Wonder Bar is worth more than the guitar now.

Build on girl!

My two axes and amps.
Fender SRV signature strat and Carvin DC127.
Peavey Delta Blues 115 and Peavey Vypyr 75

how does that SRV strat sound on that Peavey Delta? I always had a wish owning one of that Peavey amps but never came true.... got a Fender blues deluxe once for a year and then sold it because I didn't play much 😞
