Potawie's Pepper Progress

Just use the old Persian method of showing your enemy's head.
Little rat/squirrel heads on spikes would do the job. :(

I tried that with slugs once.

They weren't impressed.

I'm in for some real cold nights coming soon so my season is nearly over but still lots to harvest.

Here's some more pics of my Guadaloupe habs. No more huge pods but still large and colorful and quite productive.

Anyone out there that I promised seeds to, please be patient. I've been quite sick lately and so has my truck but things are getting better.

Here's a few more plants that need harvesting very soon.

Rocotillo chinense. I already picked tons of red ones.

True Jamaican scotch bonnet. I've almost gave up on this plant early on do to aphid damage but it turned out OK.

And here's my might quin, pequin that is. Not much fun picking these little guys.

Damn mice got into my seeds that were drying out in my shed. They didn't eat any really hot varieties but ate all my bishop's crown, chupetinha, black manaquland, and some royal black. The only ones I can't get backups for are the black manaquland but I think I still have a few original seeds.:onfire:

OMG, if I were you I'd put a mini-electric fence.
Fry those suckers.

Ya, I've been trying to pick at least a few hundred a day. Thankfully they can be pulled off easily, no scissors required. I can see why they now have machine harvestable varieties.

No I'm still picking by myself, probably a few hundred still to go. Its one productive plant and it held up to the frost pretty good until last night when it got hit good. Now its indoors and needs major trimming before I overwinter it again.

Hi Potawie.... and hello to all chileheads in this forum.
Potawie, I read your threads it is very beautiful.
I just wanted to greet and make many compliments for your gardening.

Ciao
Luigi

Hello Luigi,

You need to post some of your beautiful peppers pics here so I'm not the only show-off. It looks like you had a very good growing season in Italy.

Love those Piquins -- unfortunatly the frost has come in an attempt to overwinter the tallest plant I dug it up and potted it. I need to take pics and post in case I need to cut more off
