This borage is keeping the pollinators busy. And puts off an off colored flower sometimes

Starting to get tomatoes. Potatoes are ready to be hilled. Beans are climbing and flowers are starting to bloom. We are almost planted out in the main garden. We'll have to build some new beds to make room for the extras that were planted. Ahhh spring

Ran out of room on the cattle panels where we plant the majority of our tomatoes. While at a nursery I found a variety I've been wanting to grow for years. This little Rapunzel needed a place to grow. Having harvested bamboo off our property I decided to build a bamboo tomato trellis.

Just finished my morning garden walk. Here's a couple of flowers I saw on my journey. Plus our first tomatillo of the season.

Good morning. Here's a couple of good-looking trusses and a baby beefsteak variety. We got 9" of rain this week. So things are a little yellow but it will be alright once the sun comes out. Hope you all have a great weekend

We have definitely had a lot of rain over the last few weeks.

Tomatillos are starting to hang their lanterns. And we have the first of our peanut sprouts. This is our first time growing peanuts so we are pretty excited about this crab.

This scallop squash was planted outside of the south facing side of our chicken run. the board you see acts as shade for the chickens. I think it's safe to say this is some fertile soil.

Almost fig season. Anyone else grow or use figs for their hot sauces? I find it pairs well with the super hot varieties.

I know fig marmalade, which I like. I'd be inclined to make a marmalade with hot peppers. I'm particularly fond of the combination sweet-hot.
