I have a small window between the middle and end of September that I can plant them. I can take a Gamble and try to plant them in February but it usually gets too hot too quick here in Louisiana.
These plants are loving the mild December temps. Though they can take light frost they do prefer 60s and 70s. We've actually been in the 70s and '80s but it cold front is coming through tonight. Might be time to do a stir fry. Or do some research into some lacto fermented sugar snap pea pods.
Thanks! We definitely did well with the peas at the end of the year into this year. By February the temperatures were already getting too warm and the plants were pulled out that way I could put my tomatoes in the ground by mid-march.
