Purple Thunder / Bhut Jolokia x (PdN x Bonda Ma Jacques)

I have decided to start a dedicated Grow Log for
the Purple Thunder Bhut Jolokia hybrid.

It made its first appearance in 2015:
"This coloration might be the result of the intense
light on these red Bhuts, but only 2/6 show the trait.
If it is a cross,the only purple-y plant near the bhut
was Trippa's Mystery Cross. All of these seeds from
the same pod:"

F5 Purple Thunder Yellow/Caramel in 2022.
Really hoping to see the yellow/caramel phenotype
hold up across the board. So far so good. Be nice
to know this strain is stabilized. Thanks, friends.

@PaulG, the seeds arrived today (envelope looks like it was used in the USPS inter-departmental rugby match!) The contents all look fine, though, so I'll get going with these guys later today. Gotta figure out how much room I've got, F4 seeds for sure, maybe one of the F3 if I can figure out where it would go. :)

Glad they arrived okay. I am growing the F3's myself
this season to get those strains started toward stabili-
zation. I expect all the F5 Yellow/Caramel with gnarly
pods to be just about there. That's why I am glad to
have some other people growing.

Had a bit of a break in work stuff late this afternoon, so got some seeds into a paper towel/zip lock set up (first time), and also my IDOO. Want to be sure to get something going here, and my neighbor will grow any strong/viable offspring that I can't manage.

Getting seeds wet was a lot of hard work, so I had to have a beer......
