Quad's Cheesesteak Pizza

I've been wanting to make one of these babies for awhile..found a ball of dough in the deli and a huge hunk of Boneless Top Round on sale, and went yeeehaaaw!

Sliced the beef on bias as thin as possible, and marinated in Worcestershire, Sriracha, Granulated Garlic, S&P and GPS.

OK, let that marinate overnight, now for Pizza!

Some rehydrated crimini 'shrooms, walla walla sweet onions, sweet-hot peppers and the meat of course. Used Mozz and Gruyère for cheesees, and made a pizza sauce outa Peppercorn ranch, EVOO, Buffalo chipotle & El Yucateco XXXhot sauces.

Cooking da goods in da Iron:
Gave 'em a 1min fry and turned it off, pulled meat stuff to the handle side and tilted pan up to let it drain a bit.

Ok, now for the pizza dough and toppings.

I had to fight with the dough a bit 'cuz it'd gotten a bit weird in the fridge...but it worked out ok. Ya can see HERE what I mean by troublesome dough..

Spread on the sauce, added some cheese, then the meat/veggies, and the rest of the cheese.

Put 'er in the toaster oven on 425F and let 'er rip!

Wait for it.....

OH YEAH, IT IS GLORIOUS!!!!

It's so utterly fantastic...and the first time I've ever made a pizza with real hand kneaded/stretched dough. Meat literally is so tender ya hardly need to chew it.

That's all folks, all done 'cept the stuffing of my face. ;-D

  • CM's GPS and Sriracha in the meat marinade
  • Cooked with peppers
  • Buffalo Chipotle and El Yucateco XXXhot on the pie for a nice smokey hot flavor

If that's not good enough, too bad.

The dough coulda been better, I think it was a bit old.
But, all in all, it's pretty yummy.

I tell ya what mate...marinating 1/16" thick steak slices in Worcestershire, GPS and Sriracha overnight provides one hell of a tasty burn...it's about perfect. Heheh.

Sorry, I eated it... :hell:
