romy6 2013

Well 2012 is old news so time to push onward. It was a great year for me pepperwise. If you did not get a chance to follow me last year and would like to check it out here is the link http://thehotpepper.com/topic/27252-romy6-2012/. It will save me from explaining my grow and being redundant. I am an outdoor grower only from start to finish. I try to keep my aphid /bug colonies to a minimum while batteling the temps as while growing in east central Florida. I plan on growing many other new varieties in a few months so keep an eye out. Until then I wish a great grow for all and look forward to following all of your grows. After fighting off the tequilla hangover this moring I managed to stumble along and pick my first harvest of the new year. Some yellow 7's, yellow scorps, yellw scotch bonnets with a tail, hybrid bhut, not douglah, mystery annums, choc hab , cho bhut bhut and a choc bhut x yellow 7 f3. Winter pods are always a little funky looking IMHO

 Happy New Year

Looking great, nice sunny weather there...

Thanks Charles. Always sunny in the sunshine state:)

Agreed, I think it would make an awesome avatar and I still say someone should make some T-Shirts with that picture. Subtle front left side or back of T ... heck even on the sleeve with some verbage below it like “Killa,” “PepperMon,” or even "romy6 Bad Azz." Again very cool Bill!

Avatar done. Still working on the T shirt. Bill and I haven't worked out the profit margin thing ;)

Looking good J-Daddy! I'm jealous of all those pods...and now I'm mad at myself for looking at that food porn in the middle of the morning....How am I supposed to get any work done between now and lunch?

G to A to R to Y  How is my ragin cajun brotheren doing. Strapping on some knee pads and about to hit the neighbors empty pool I presume  Oh wait, it isn"t 1980 anymore ;) Do what I do. Eat a little, work a little

Jamie, just thought of another one and I'd go with this one in your shoes "Romy6 FTW" \o/

Love it Ray!!!! :P

You always crack me up, J-Daddy....I've definitely been enrolled in the eat-a-little-work-a-little program for while now, and while that pool is definitely not happening, at least not right now, my little street board sure has been calling my name lately....

Great vid—Your plants are really bushing out and setting plenty of pods. I'm glad you dig your iPad...I've been thinking one of those Minis would be way handier than the iPad 2 I've got....and you can't beat the price.

Everything is either loaded, packing or soon come … gotta love dis time of year! Great video, shows the impressive number of flowers dem peppers can get during our best season of da year. Keep up dat awesome grow & have a great week ^_^

Man you got some bigguns! Makes for easy picking when your plants are at eye level. That Brainstrain looked like it was towering over you. You'll have full blown trees by the end of the grow season. Good luck!

Thank you Dshlogg. I am only hoping my birgits grow like trees. Looking for more of a bush from my chinenses:)

Awesome update bud! I think I seen King Kong climbin on that not-white bhut. You got some GIANTS! What size containers are they in?! Do they get alot of shade in that location?
Man, keep on keepin on!

Thanks Stevo. My plants are in 3 gallon, 5 gallon , and 7 gallon. During the winter that is the sunniest spot around my house. During the summer thaeyonly get morning sun, a little afternoon , and then shaded the rest of the day. My plants seem to react well to it.
Nice vid Jamie... I see it's warmed up enough down your way that you've got the AC going, that's probably why your chiles are in full forward mode. Good on ya man!

Thanks Rick. It's all about the chill brotha!!

Thanks Gary. I agree the mini ipad is so much easier to handle perfect for my kids.

Couple more pics for those who be liking me.

Not white bhut . I love young plants. Too bad they have to grow up and get all woody with small leafs:)

couple mysteries'

Petunia pepper :)

And yellow 7

Jamie, astounding some of those TREES are in 7 gal pots!? I was thinking, "That has to be 15 gal!" Beautiful and love, love the X'es! Eh, lignification maybe just means, less leaf area for spider mites to attack? What are you using for soil or soilless and feed? (Go ahead and b.s. me . . . but seriously!) Stunning pod/film/pic-age!
