food S.I.P./Quarantine Cooking

Friday night delight.  5 lbs crawfish, 2 lbs Andouille sausage, corn on the cob halved, red potatoes halved, seasoned with Zatarain's crab boil. Delicacy during quarantine!

Saute onions in the butter until soft, mix in flour and cook for a few minutes.  Add milk and cook until thick.  I decided to add some cheese, because...seriously...Ham and Cheese...is just gooood.  After the fact, I think I should of just used the white sauce and baked the cheese on top at the end.  It seemed to make the white sauce grainy.  Oh well, It was still good!

Pun? Or plum?

Generally speaking there are often puns around me but not this time or plums.

It is a cherry. The way liquid bends light just makes it look bigger I think. You can see how the icecube looks bigger below the surface.
Cherry!  I did not get that at all.   I thought you put a rock in the glass for a hwhiskey 'on the rocks' pun.   I did notice the ice cube also.

Thanks, NECM.  That poor cook book has been around since about 1980.  All the pages are off the spine.  I just be careful and hope I don't drop it.  Instead of playing 52 card pick up, it'll be 410 page pick up.

Awesomeness sobelri!
