saiias 2019 - one small step, one giant step Glog

Starting this GLOG to track and update my progress.
This will be my 2nd year of growing hot peppers. Last year I had good success with my ghost peppers and thai peppers.

OK. Here is the update that I am sure no one is waiting for. lol.

All of my plants except for my Reaper and swamp thingy are doing good.
Sadly my only reaper plant has black leaf spot. I separated it from other plants. Gave it a H2O2 bath. Hope it recovers.

I moved remaining of them from my patio to a shade area on my lot. They seem to like it there as they get the shade during peak sun in the afternoon and get sunlight in the mornings and evenings.

Almost all the plants have flowers and are forming buds and fruits.

No experience using it to stake plants, only used it to reinforce my house foundation [emoji16]. I’ve used old aluminum arrows for stakes.

Brought thwm from an old timer. He used thwm as tomato stakes. I had to cut a feet of each of them as they were too tall and heavy. 5 ft is the good height I hope.

You have the post at 5’ tall, that should be plenty long enough. You could probably even drive them down through the buckets into the ground, to anchor the plants down incase of hurricanes and twisters and bad storms [emoji16]
