… give the lethally hot ones to the mother in law :)
ROFLMFAO … and I just recently saw mine, why didn’t you post this weeks ago, lol!

Lmfao. I would give them away its just that I don't know anyone that likes hot stuff like me. I would ship them out to you guys …
Don’t go to any expense shipping, just place a free ad in craigs list locally and I’ll bet you get more calls than you would like to receive. If they don’t sell on the cheap (which I would be surprised), there will certainly be peeps that take dem for free. BTW congrats on the nice hooks \o/

I dont do Craig's list.. Im too cute.....ahahahaa just kidding. I would rather give than do Craig's list and I dont mind the postage. It's the safe travel i fear. Peri. If i had an in-law I would.. My mother just might do except she keeps eating my hot food, complaining its hot, then eating it again. UGH at 74 you would think she would slow down. Oh hell no. Now she wants to undercover become a chillihead. I Just CANTTTTTT

here she is

I cleaned out my grow space, purchased a 4 ft T8 that hold 4 bulbs. I purchased 4 daylight bulbs and I am going to use the plant light just cuz I purchased it before I knew what to buy. Now the next step is the reflective surface. At this point I'm about to use the industrial roll of tin foil that I purchased years ago and will never use it all

lol Respect - your mom is made of steel! You must have gotten your fire eating gene from somewhere. And now that she has discovered the endorphins and antioxidants that chillies bring... she ain't going to slow down any time soon. You might just find her getting into the clubbing scene again!

Hi Chewi. The fish was one pepper I really wanted to try. They say it is used in crab seasoning so I want to try to make some crab seasoning (Baltimore style).

Yes sir Paul. Approximately 50 varieties. Not sure how many plants I'm going to keep. I planted between 4 and 8 of each kind.

Bodeen my uncle gave me something to put on my wrists for the skeeters. I hope they work. I hate those darn things.

No hooks yet
50 verieties!!! That is an insane amount - Hope you are going to rope your chillihead mom into gardening as well... you are going to need as many hands as you can rally :)

Lol Peri. She already goes to the casino at least twice a week. She probably is clubbing in the casino. Ahahahaha. You have 1000+ plants and say my little 50 is an insane amount. Your going to turn into on giant chilli by the end of the season. Aahhaaaaa good thing you have plenty of help.

Pia my girl. I know I am the wrong person to give advice about reflective material( or indoor growing in general) but foil is not gonna help. Need some mylar my chili girl:)

If you can't find anyone close by and don't want to do craiglist, maybe you could take them to a farmer's market and sell them or give them away? You could also find a local gardening club to give them to or just drop them off at a community garden.

For reflective material I use the emergency blanket that you can buy in the camping section at Walmart. You get an 84" x 52" piece that reflects on both sides. It's a lot stronger than it looks and I think I paid $5 for it?

The best reflective material has a white smooth surface, white reflects better then foil (aluminium). At least that's what I've read from studies.

Ya I have been doing some reading and I think I'm going to do the flat white thing

I may have some co-workers that would like to take some I I run outta room. As of now since they are hooking I have become attached and will probably make room for them all even if I have to kick out the hubby.

If I can't find something cheap and white. That is exactly what I am going to do.

Yeah I am going to go for something white.

Panda plastic (black and white poly) is what I have found the best in the past

I hope they have it here in the hardware store.

Maybe you can come to a compromise with your hubby. If he gets dressed all in white, maybe he can stay? Just a thought...

Nice, how far away are your lights? Maybe mine are too close, all my sprout are short and stock but I keep might light 6 to 8 inches away. How are you doing on germination rates thus far? We have to keep the east coast on fire!

My germ rates have been so so. I contribute that to my first time stumbles. My lights are too far from my plants from what I have seen on the forum. I can't help that right now. All I can do is hope it doesn't slow them down or make them too leggy later on. I also have to get a fan in there but can't figure out how do that with the fan oscillating. I have some things to work out but I will figure it out. Oh for measurement purposes the lights are approximately a foot away from the plants.
