Wow your 2009 season is going to be no joke. I can't wait to see them. Are you planting them in the ground, pots, or a combination of the two?

Hi Josh,
Since I hate cutting the lawn, they're going in the ground and pots all over the place, right now they're inside under lights for at least another 6 weeks there abouts...
Just hope I can keep up with it all

Wow. Very impressive. This post is going to be fun to follow. I'm especially interested in your wild selections. Good luck!

I am growing the Red Fatalii this year too...have 5 plants and three different pod shapes and colors...also growing the chocolate fatalii but there is almost no heat but the pepper taste is good...

I doubt if I grow the reds or chocolates next year...

Hi AJ,
I thought I'd grow them to see the comparison, I see there are alot of varieties with different colour mutations, I'm also growing the Bhut orange, chocolate, red and the 7 pod yellow, orange, red and a couple of other types, Its interesting to compare the different varieties

one of the plants are producing pods that are almost "peach" colored when ripe...pretty attractive pod....

here is a pic of the three different "reds"

that is a 1943 walking liberty 50 cent piece for size comparison

I guess some of these color mutatons would be natural but others would come from crossings between varieties and then by crossing them back to the original variety?

Wow that is lot of very nice variety& wild ones too, I like those crosses, you will have full hands to manage all those plants when they start growing.Have great season!!!!!!!!!
