Nope, Impact is the font of power and Comics Sans is the font of silly things.

They consume certain matter around them, convert it, and replicate. 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, 4 becomes 8, etc etc. Within a short period of time (some estimate no less than 24 hours depending on the scenerio) and the whole world has been covered in a mass of nanobots that resembles a see of grey goo.
Many papers have been written on the subject and considering the amount of nanotech we have achived and done sefl replication already, it's a very real problem.

Sickmont said:This is almost straight out of the show Stargate:Atlantis. They called them "Replicators", however in the show the replicators weren't nanobots, but the story is more or less the same. They consume everything around them in order to replicate and eventually they take over by crowding everything else out.
I'm just not sure which came first, the thoery or the tv show plot. Either way, i'm not sweating all this end of the world doom and gloom that people/media, etc. keep bombarding me with. Think about it, the instant i was born i was already dying. Slowly. There's nothing i can do to stop it.
imaguitargod said:The thoery came first, and SG-1 (not Atlantis) used it (as have many people as well).
Sickmont said:Ya, they first appeared in SG-1 but they were a major plot in Atlantis.
