Silver Surfer's 2010 Grow

I threw together a small grow box this winter.
It's still not quite finished yet as I need to add a fan and bottom reflector once potted up.
It uses one 4' T5 High Output Fluorescent and 2 heat mats with thermostat.
The light was only turned on after the first sprouts and the domes were removed.
The heat mats no longer turn on as the light now supplies ample heat.

I raised the light to snap a shot of the first to emerge.
First 2 popped @ 4 days 14 hours, 1 Serrano and 1 Lemon Drop. None in the Chinense tray yet.

Thanks to all that supplied seed.

That is quite the list SS. I was hoping to see you on here before you started your massive harvests this year. Good luck with the season, we are going to need it after last year.

Thanks guys. I just need to decide what to do with all of these peppers once harvest begins. :D

I derive the most pleasure from watching these tiny seeds develop into hefty pod factories. :)

Nice looking setup SS. Are you gonna cover the top somehow, or is it designed to stay open?

Definitely a nice variety of plants you got going. I see you went all-in and planted everything, right down to the annuums. It's a little too early for me to do that.

Hope you have a great growing season.:)

Nice list and nice setup. I was looking forward to seeing what you were planing for 2010. Hope they grow big and fast for you.

The light has its own reflector and with just the light for heat the temp is 84.5F, but this is indoors where the ambient temp is 70F. With a top added I'm sure the temp would be too high, so no top will be added. The plan is to remove the annuums to a window sill and make room for the maters later. :)

Thanks

Thanks AJ, the same to you and yours.

The BJ supply is fine now but always needs to be continually replenished. ;)

Yeah, I need my BJ supply replenished too, but my wife doesn't seem to agree!

I've got a feeling you are going to need a lot of room in the next couple weeks. Looking like a great start SS.

Yep, that is if they all germinate. Come on Spring! No floods, no drought, just right. :)

I've got a feeling I'm gonna be swamped as it is. Let's leave the north 40 fallow this year. :)
