I hope to get about 140 of these transplanted this evening.

Thanks everyone.

Finally finished getting all of my plants in the dirt last Friday.

I snapped this shot during plant out of one of the Manzanos I started from seed I received from http://www.oldbarnnursery.com. It doesn't seem to mind the 90F temps we've been having and is already blooming. I have high hopes for these this season.

SS,

Is that nursery a regular provider of your seed? Never seen them before but am now intrigued.

It's the http://chiligrower.com store front. They raise all of their seed and have a huge chili garden. I've planted several varieties from them this season and all are doing very well. Their farm is a huge family endeavor and I watched this variety of Manzano perform in their garden last season and was greatly impressed with its productivity and size while growing in full sun. If it does half as well for me this summer I'll devote a full row to these next season.

Looking great man, I am pretty freakin excited to see that plot explode. Gonna break out the JD bottle again this year for the harvest pics?

Looking great SS. Cant wait for a few more weeks and seeing those beasts.
Thanks MW. Well it's been around 4 weeks, so time for a little update.

Wow. Well done.
Just my lazy way of gardening. ;)

Sure, gotta have something for scale and what better reason to empty another one.

Still time to dig trenches so you can walk through and pick instead of crawling.
Thinkin' bout trainin' some monkeys this season.

Peas and beans are starting to bloom. No okra yet, but the squash is keeping me busy along with a few pods.

The Manzanos didn't fare well in that 97 degree stretch in May, but a few might make something.

The 7s didn't mind the heat too much and are startin' to set some pods. Here's a Brain Strain.

Well. That's a a pretty stunning grow plot you have there!
I'm impressed you were able to get them in the ground so quickly.
That would have taken me 7 days!

Will enjoy seeing this develop a whole bunch!

Looking great! That ButchT Yellow looks pretty interesting. Is that your cross or someone else's? What is it crossed with?

I can't wait to see that table filled with pods. From the looks of it, you should have a lot of new ones for us to drool over!

Your garden looks like it is doing really good.
The Saint Helena looks to be making alot of pods for you.
