harvesting Silver Surfer's Final Harvest 7-31-09

It rained all day yesterday with winds strong enough to tip many containers. Thankfully the only damage
was the loss of a few pods and leaves. Hard rain continued last night and most of this morning, but it
finally stopped long enough to pick 2 and 7/8 pounds and snap some quick shots.

Great harvest. You Tennessee-Valley guys are blessed. I'll have to push my brother in law in Lauderdale County into growing peppers!

Thanks again dillo, but I'm quite a ways south of TV.

Damn SS you always post such beautiful pics! One of these days I hope to return the favor. I did notice one of my BJ's turning orange today. Come on heat!!

We just posted the coldest July ever in Nebraska. Made life easy on me but it didn't do the plants a lot of good. Hope August is a scorcher.

Thanks for giving me a goal in life.;)
