SKULLBIKER 2023, LESS FOR ME

I thought about not doing a GLOG this year but have decided to "just do it". My grow will be much less this year with no super hots planted(although there are a few previous plants still going). Most new plants will be Jalapenos and various pheno's of PeppaPeach as those are the ones that I consume massive amounts of.
This old pick of days gone by will be my lead pic for this years GLOG. I have several new ones taken since Jan 1, and I will be posting them as I get time until I am caught up.

OK now, everyone get out there and produce some peppers.

I think that I'll "unofficially" name this pepper Sugar Rush ORANGE Stripey. I waited a while and it's not going to any other color.
Views from all sides.

And it's orange through and through.

And seeds were saved from the stripey pod.

How does the taste compare vs the normal peach-colored pods?

I always thought the peach pods were a little bland, it especially was evident when I pickled them. This first orange pod has medium heat and a good flavor(to me). I had some completely dark(orangish) PeppaPeach pods last year and those had more zing than the standard peach ones.

Sounds good🤤 Thanks for the feedback!

Things are PeppaPeachy in this container.

More Sugar Rush Orange coming along, too soon to tell if they'll be stripeys. Also, more strange pods coming on another Sugar Rush Red plant, too early to tell just what they'll be.

This looks to be my first "measurable" Ecuadorian Sweet Rocoto pod of the year.

I've been picking a few peppers lately.
An orange and a regular jalapeno.

A few Sugar Rush Orange, just barely showing any stripeing.

A few PeppaPeach Stripey pods.

And a few regular PeppaPeach(although a couple are fairly large).

Another odd pheno on a Sugar Rush Red plant.

An odd looking PeppaPeach.

Another very strange pheno off of another Sugar Rush Red plant. It's a vivid orange.

You’ve got it going on. Looks great! Damn Floridians. I envy your temps, just not the humidity and bugs. That would drive me crazy. Are you in a drought right now? I’ve heard others saying they wish for some rain.
Nice pod production.

Nice pod production.

We are just ending our dry season now with occasional rain. I love the dry season, no lawn mowing. I just mowed the lawn the first time in 4 months the other day. Any plants or trees that need water get it from the hose. Within a week or two we'll get rain every afternoon, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. A lot of spot/area showers in Florida, I've seen it downpour at my house and be rain-free across the street!
Speaking of bugs, I just saw the first of these yesterday. 🤬. They grow big here also.
