Let me just say HOLY CRAP I put too much KS on that!!!!

I'm really digging my new profile pic, for many reasons.  It is like Scovie with the kitty is like the gangster petting his little pet, but the cat looks just like mine too.

Its mother's day, what better day to cook a ham and some sausage on the BGE?  Oh yeah, making her a meal too.  She asked for pot roast mashed potatoes, butter noodles, broccoli and corn.  That's in the oven.  There will be lots of pics today.

These are pre-cook pics.  The roast has been browned and the mirapoix sweated then all the other goodies added, the wine, the mushrooms, the bay leaves, the Texas Creek Spicy Worchestershire, etc.  Then its into a 350F oven for three and a half hours.  Finished pics in about three more beers.  The sausage is about ready to flip so I will have another pic of that soon.   Cheers!.

Happy Mother's Day!  My mom is away with my dad today, so I am just celebrating with the woman who gave me my two beautiful sons.  Here is what she asked for today. She i definitely a comfort food gal.

I broke away from the mold and made some grilled hot dogs for the boys.  Lucas is elbow deep in ketchup as I type this.
