Now that looks like it's going to bite. Absolutely beautiful! I hope that one gets stabalized soon and seeds become available.

jacob

Sure ....

when it becomes stable will be given as gifts to friends who ask ... we do not sell seeds

p.s. however it is still early .. we are in f1 and not told that subsequent generations there are the stripes ....

fingers crossed :mouthonfire:

Marco you are wrong the Brain Strain is a 7 Pod and not a TS Morouga Blend. I don't know why but you act like you are the only one who received seed from SR and are the authority of all Trinidad peppers? Not true many of us received seed directly from Sara and the term Brain Strain was coined by me in the thread 7 Pod Skin Porn back in 2008. I chose the name Brain Strain because it looked different than any other 7 Pod at that time and to follow the distribution of my traded seeds. Sara also commented in my thread that is exactly what the true 7 Pods looks like in Trinidad so please quit using the term brain strain in your naming of the yellow TS Scorpion Morouga. Please understand that is like me disrespecting or discrediting AISPES, which I'm not except to correct the name your calling your pepper. :(

You do grow pretty peppers but remember I got all three from you in a trade last year not labeled Aispes or brain strain anywhere. Keep up the good work and good luck with your organization.

Dear Cappy .....

I'm not the only one to grow trinidad ... and I assure you I'm nobody.
I say just my opinion ... and maybe someone bothers ... it's your problems

I grow the pepper for hobby and I do not sell seeds ... and you know why I gave you it

You say that my ts morouga is a 7 pod ... I say no ... points of view .... but I'm not saying that you think you are an authority .... I have utmost respect for all opinions ... What you do not have with me ... denigrating

I am studying the trinidad and I have my idea on their origin and their classification ... and call them in my schema

In the case of trinidad scorpion yellow morouga I added to the brain strain .... just to let you know it is the type that you too .... is known among fans of that name .... but the name of the cultivar is Trinidad scorpion morouga yellow AISPES

rest assured that I do not care anything about TM and other .....
this silly game let him do to others

This is a forum where it says which ones you think ... and share their passion with others ....
I did not think there were all these problems

This surely does not seem like a topic worth fighting over! We all enjoy peppers and there are a hundred different variations on all these super hot varieties. None seem extremely stable. I enjoy hearing others' opinions / guesses on how these varieties originated, but at the end none of us will ever truly know.

Chris

I think so too ...

but if just one says his opinion and is taken for a man who feels an authority ... I do not like
I do not like as if I should not say certain things

Someone is offended if I use the term brain strain? ... but is this possible?

then you should be offended too ... Indeed the first brain strain I've seen is your beautiful blend morouga

i repeat my personal opinion

the trinidad scorpion morouga and the 7 pod yellow are different ... and i want stabilize them

Marco you are confused and I feel sorry for you, I said nothing about your scorpion pepper being a 7 Pod at all. I just asked that you stop using the cultivar name Brain Strain on every bumpy pepper from Trinidad you might grow and slap your organizational name on. You have disrespected me in several threads and everybody including yourself knows that I label and trade my seeds as 7 Pod Brain Strain for many years. I understand there might be a language translation problem but I would never undermine another growers contribution to the pepper community like your doing with me. Your quote from just a couple days ago in another thread,
I remember that thread ... beautiful
and I remember that first used this term was Cappy
Brain Strain is not a term but a specific 7 Pod cultivar, I'd hope an organization like AISPES would respect that. :banghead:

I've never disrespected in this as in other threads
..... and if I knew who was selling seeds ... I would not have given so many of my gift to you

maybe tomorrow I will also apologize to have plants that you have renamed and sold .... but I gave you

I think that you can not capture a cultivar for commercial use .... if you did that .... you wrong

Fortunately I do not sell seeds ... i'll never lawsuit ... but rest assured that you can not give you seeds from Sara and say that the variety is yours .... when you know very well that we grow in many

the variety brain strain circulating for some time on the forums ... there are previous photos (like that of Chris)
I am aware that you were the first to use it .... I have also written
but you are not alone

in other forums say it looks like a brain ... and it does not take much imagination

I repeat .... I use the term "brain strain" just to understand what kind of Trinidad

... but brain strain not the name .... The cultivar is called "trinidad scorpion morouga yellow AISPES" not "trinidad scorpion morouga yellow "brain strain " AISPES

if you re-read my previous post you'll see that the name "brain strain" is after the final AISPES

this is ridiculous ... I thought of you a pleasure in saying that these varieties have that name
Quieter ... trade your seeds ....

I will not use that term anymore

for the future I will use this term: "brain shaped" ... to let you know that I am not interested to create any variety ... especially for base money ... but just to give the idea of the shape of these chili peppers

Anyway give me a courtesy ... not read my thread .... I do this only for passion ..... and I hate pretending passion just to make money .....

to me are ignored

Thank you Marco. I have given away probably over 250 packets of seed with about 40 seed per pack which equates to over 10,000 individual seeds. It is a product of supply and demand and I had more people asking for seed that I did not have so I did charge for seed one time earlier this year for 7 Pod Brain Strain seed only. Sorry if that is what offended you and started your smear campaign against me but rest assured I did not get rich by doing that. I have shared freely with just about anybody who has asked politely and will continue to do so to help spread this amazing plant across the globe. I also frown upon and do not trade with people who have an agenda to sell seeds for profit and have done my best to keep my seeds out of hands of those people. We are the same in that regard and again I am sorry for my part in this argument. I do not take any credit other than selective breeding and feel that using the name Brain Strain is no different than you adding AISPES to the name, just a way to follow your selective strains. Good day.

I sent seeds to ten times ... without ever asking anything in return ..... and hear about smear campaign .... never mind :(

I'm sorry to have used the term "brain strain"
I am Trying not to step on toes here and i thought of fun with pepper

hopefully it will not intervene anymore in this thread ....

I have nothing to add ..... From now for me you are ignored

thanks

Those yellow flowers on the wilds look beautiful. I keep checking my Rhomb. every few days hoping to see a flower, but none yet. I will definately be keeping it over the winter for next year.
