Well,I haven't been labeling some of my plants on purpose
If they are jalapenos they could be nice good tasting variety or
SHHJ
Super Hot Huge Jalapenos
Which I'm wondering if they really are jalapeno because they are so hot they gave me hiccups from a regular bite.

I'm going to update this post as fruits develop.

Other flower "pods"
R mostly growing downward

Only a few types of peppers grow upward, but I don't think I've ever seen one point up while the rest are pointing down...

While some of the other peppers have taken a different direction.

And even one pepper fruit growing downward.

But, there's a twist!

Sorry that pepper that was growing upright got blossom end rot or something bit the end off and it fell off

Well most of the peppers I have growing, have upright fruits.

What about a cross pollination?
Could that make one grow upright, just because it was crossed with "upright" pollen?

Cross-pollination doesn't affect the current plant, only the seeds it produces and the following generation.
And now that I think about it, I've seen that happen with some purple cayennes.

I only recently started trying bigger peppers that grow downward.
I've got these peppers that were sold as jalapenos and some Serrano peppers I grew out of a bag of peppers from the supermarket.
