Pimenta da Neyde x Bhut F2... I wasn't counting on purple being so dominant here, will have to pick a few from these to grow out:

Here are some of my 2013 treasures.

I was able to start four C. galapagoenses (they didn't all come up on the same date):

Too many Florida Wild seedlings, I'll just see what happens, they're extras at this point:

Looking great. Cant wait to see how the Neyde Bhut does. Sounds like an interesting cross to say the least.

Charles, the buds on the Aji Cristal x Cumari Pollux look interesting! Can't wait to see what happens next! (i.e. the actual flowers and fruit)

Nice stellate shape on that flower. I noticed some of my c.praet flowers had a rotate shape. Did you use the pollux in that cross? Let's see the calyx on that beauty!!!

Really robust plants you got going there Mr. Spicey and superb photography to match.

We have gotten a lot more snow than our ten year average it seems. I kinda like it.

I'm a first-timer with pepper seed -just now getting them in the mix. I got a lot to learn.
Good to know there is some pepper growing talent on this end of the state.
I live up on the So. Fork but my garden is at my business down off 81 near the TN line.
When the garden gets to growing, stop and see me if you're down this way.

I just read above and saw the calyx and what the parents were. My bad on that last post. The pollux seems to be pretty hairy, maybe I will grow them out this year,I have some seeds.

Time for a little update...

Sonoran Chiltepin x 7 Pot Barrackpore wants to flower, but probably not enough light or heat for it to go much further at this point:

Up close and personal with Cumari Pollux (C. praetermissum):

Some Yellow Bhuts awaiting warmer weather:

These things grow too fast, trying to keep them in their tiny pots as long as I can...
