Great plants Srin! I was worried about growing some hot peppers in our climate, but having seen your photos my confidence levels have been given a boost!
Where in Malaysia are you based?

It had been suggested to me that I might have problems growing Capsicum Chinese varieties here. But as you're only 250 km south of me (I'm in Hat Yai) we should have the same climate. Happy days, I love Habaneros!!!

just visited a secret farm that i know. they just plant white chilis ( strain from Madura, indonesia.)

Nice looking peppers. The white varieties are intriguing. The "secret farm" plants look like Tabasco-type peppers with the upright pods.

I guess they are harvested while they are white but do eventually ripen red? How hot are they?

Yeah they are harvested when they are in white stage and they do eventually turn red.when in white stage the pod are quite hot for normal people and they get even hotter when in red stage.i am guessing 30000-50000sco level

:onfire: :onfire: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!1

my Trinidad scorpion butch seed just hooked in 12 days!!! 1 of 2 seeds sowed. hoping it would be 2 of 2 soon.

wp000132s.jpg
got a hook from the other butch seed. That's a 100% germination but the second one took 19 days to germinate. Both seeds had same treatment. I am just happy. Will get some photos out tomorrow.

Thats a great sight Srin.

Looks like the aji limon likes you better than me :(

Looking good there, Sri! Btw, i ate the assam bhut 2 nights ago. That experience, to summarize, is very humbling to me.

what do you mean the aji limon likes me better ? was yours attacked by aphids ?
have you given any ferts to the aji limon yet? i was planing to give some but wanted to ask you first. where do you keep your seedlings?

wow... hehehe how was the burn or it was not hot enough ? did you eat the whole pod yourself or shared with someone. :) hope you did not hear ringing sounds.

pm me your add and i will sent you the sabah white chilli seeds :)

Looks like the seed cap might be stuck. :(
wp000164.jpg

i am too afraid to touch it. should i just leave it like that and let natures way and let it come out itself ?

todays update on the capped seedling.!
wp000166.jpg

i am going to use two tweezers to pull apart the seed shell. hope i got some stead hands to do it. i have already tried pulling the cap a few times , i am afraid i might pull the whole plant out. have been soaking the cap with water droplets.
