STAR TREK RULED!!!!!

I loved it...and I've watched ST since it was in b/w. :)

Bones was spot-on. Awesome 'lil quips and bits..like Bones using an original prop from TOS when he's scanning Kirk...lots of little things. Like Kirk's way of patting folks on the shoulder.

Even had a Tribble cameo and the greeen Orion chiks....:D

Best ST movie ever. Sure, it isnt' canon..but like Berman's was? Ugh.

I think it's a great 'prequel' and much needed life in the series.

Nimoy even said it's the only one to really capture the raw emotianal feeling of ST:TOS. This after he's refused to be in most recent projects.

Oh, rememebr whewn scotty said he sorta 'lost' "Admiral Archer's prized beagle"?

c0ff...tghat from ST:E cept he was a captn then on the early Enterprise, now he's an admiral...hmm, hed be 140+ now and Porthos liek XII huh? ;)

The Pike bit in the chair..classic TOS epi reference too, eh?

You just KNOW the redshirt dood is gonna bite it....'nother classic ST:TOS bit.

There are dozens of tie-ins and easter eggs..it's damn impressive.

Yep, cought all that. But did you catch when Pike was on the table and the way they had the lighting set up, the one side of his face was bright red with some shadows and it looked like it was in TOS very briefly.
 
Going to see it tonight. I can't wait; I've always been a bit of a Star Trek nerd.

Wolverine will have to wait for netflix.
 
yeah It was a really good movie and I really like the part where

Just downloaded it and realize that I will have to see it in the theater to do it justice. Damn tickets here are about $3 now! :(

That's about the price I pay as well, since the whole family went to Star Trek and we had had drinks and popcorn we spent $95.

Well worth it though we don't often go to the movies as a family.
