Still cold, still small, growing somehow 2021

New year and new peppers.

This years plan is to build pellet greenhouse for chilis and solar powered watering, if anyone has such system, please tell me.

Ps. That "bonchi" is now 4yo

Looks like a nice, compact light.

The tomato looks like a good one. I am
growing a similar Indigo Cherry from
Territorial Seeds in Oregon. Matches
the description of your tomato. Not sure
what size fruit your version has.

Back to the tent!

Nice new light, Inoks. Should bring on
some robust plant growth. Have fun
getting it dialed in.

I think im going to buy a big cold frame like this
https://akiro.fi/tuote/pienet-kasvihuoneet/kasvihuone-maximus/

And raise that with planks so it will be 1,4m tall(1.4m= 4ft 7.11inch)
So 2,1x1,1x1.4m there should be enough room for 8 plants. Then in the future I could grow heat sensitive chilis there and rocotos where I grew others last summer

On a side Note, would've built that myself, but dont have time with all the work, kids, getting married stuff

That looks really slick. Go for it!

Oh, c'mon man!

There are 24 hours in a day   ;)

Those look good, and much less expensive
than the other one. Some nice black patio
blocks or something for a heat sink floor will
keep plants a bit warmer at night. Even some
black water buckets with lids will make a good
heat sink.

Good luck getting it together - can't wait to see
what you come up with full of plants!

That beast (compared to others) claims to be ahuachapan but it sure grows like starfish... Luckily it has started to branch out.

Mini Chocolate Bell stays mini but puts out flowers.

Mini-greenhouse, last years twig as a comparison. Im either going to do some digging so pots are "underground" or raise the greenhouse with more polycarbonate. Not sure yet

The little greenhouse looks great. Should help a lot with temperature in the early season.

Interesting that some reports of aji ahuachapan say it's a compact plant, while others say it's tall and gangly.  It sure looks like it's going to be a big one.

Also helps with night temps mid season. :)

There is a chance I messed up labels, but pretty unlikely. I also have another ahuachapan that is kinda medium in size. Interesting to see what happes when they start podding

If you raise the greenhouse kits with poly or dig
the pots into the ground, how will you access
them since they would be further below the
opening at the top?

Hmm, that might get to be a problem later in the season..
Maybe a funnel with a tube attached? Have to figure that one out

Looking forward to seeing the unit all set-up and ready to go!
