Still cold, still small, growing somehow 2021

New year and new peppers.

This years plan is to build pellet greenhouse for chilis and solar powered watering, if anyone has such system, please tell me.

Ps. That "bonchi" is now 4yo

Yea that was my 4 year old bonchi, it really took its time, but now it seems to grow fast!

Seems like you are about to have a great Summer grow
in Finland this year!
 
Been too busy to update, but things are going along nicely. I have frozen all ripe fruits and will do so for the rest of the season.
When last pod is picked I will weigh em and dry em.

So this is it, 1.1kilos of chili from 6 plants this summer, ALOT of green pods got ruined by sudden cold weather, but still overall good season considering everything that has been going on outside of garden things!

Great that you have a lovely harvest,sorry about the early cold I no from speaking to Jukka over the years how hot the summers can be but winter comes early to Finland but 1 kg of peppers of 6 plants is a good year in my kneck of the woods so i hope it is for you.🙂

Thanks! can't really complain :) Only have had better yields when I had windowed balcony.

btw. those feet arent mine in that pic, they are my kids :D

Can't think of anything nicer than your powders to sustain yiu through those cooler months and remind you that all that growing was worth the effort.👍
 
a quick question as I think about 2022. There is no way to use so much time and energy on watering plants next summer.

Either I'll skip next year or do hydro, how loud are they in general? They would be in the house for a while atleast before moving to garage. Is one able to sleep in the same room with a bubbler for example.

Really keen to try growing that p. dreadie 2020 G3 or p. dreadie 2018 G2

have some of the 2018 from the decent phenotypes.
