Stranded on an Island, which three seed types are in your pocket?

With the exception of fresh wild game I have a vegetarian diet.
Fresh game you hunt/trap? How long have you been doing that?

doubt you could go long on just peppers, wouldn't eating nothing but bells give u the runs and be counter productive to hydration.
I hear the same from coconuts.

I think I was about 8 the first time I went hunting, so about 20 years.  I don't do any trapping because I think it takes the thrill out of it, I'll take my rabbits and groundhogs with a .22 tyvm.  Squirrel legs are great barbequed just like you would with chicken wings.  Can't forget fishing either, that would be pretty important on an island...

Coconut juice will give you the runs, it's the coconut meat inside that will give you a good protein boost though, after all it is a seed.  I'm sure there would be plenty of bugs to eat too

. . . stuffing with crab, flounder . . .

(Now, it's a vacation destination, or for someone like me who lives to be stuffed with crustaceans, molluscs, and flat fish, Fantasy Island.  "Dah pod!  Dah pod!")

  • Ají Amarillo  (Peruvians know something about pairing chiles and fish.)
  • Guajillo  (So I can Mex things up with say, bluefish chili.)
  • Jamaican Hot Chocolate  (Jamaica is an island, and my 2013 JHC plant was absolutely heroic.)

Agreed, trapping is horseshit coward trash. I have a henry golden boy 22 lever that is a blast to mess with. Good to see some youngins with a good head and a love for Chiles, stay young brother.

Maybe if you already have cholera.

Coconut water is considered a rejuvenating tonic.  Drinking it fresh, straight from Nature's container is one of life's nice little pleasures, and I've never experienced a hint of any digestive issues from it.

The little ferment to the right there is mostly coconut and habanero.  Had some yesterday: it's very tart, hot, and a bit tropical with some subtle coconut essence still there and a nice mouthfeel from the fatty, (nutritious) coconut meat.

1) jalapeño - love the flavor
2) hemp - prolific growth for rope, seeds themselves are very nutritious
3) Carolina Reaper - multi-use: grind up to create makeshift pepper spray powder for protection, eat to breath fire as both a signal for help and to start a wood fire for cooking fish and other local qualifying foods, general fun

I kid, I kid....

Assuming that I could find a diet of other plants/animals, I think I would probably take:

1. Orange Bell Peppers [Love the flavor, and they are a great compliment to many dishes]

2. Fatalii [Great citrus flavor, which I think would compliment seafood nicely]

3. Scotch Bonnet [I mean come on... you are on an island... it just seems appropriate]

Maybe I shouldn't trust Les Stroud in all things

I think he is pretty trustworthy.  :)  He is a lot better than some of the other quacks doing survival shows.

Cannibis - because EVERYTHING is better when you're high
orange or red bell - sweet/fleshy, lots of nutes/vitamins
Jalapeno - great flavor, tiny heat - but it's still there, very good for you

Do you eat groundhogs? How does one prepare a groundhog?

Bell pepper-Fleshy,good for stuffing,flavour.
Jalapeno-stuffing with fish,little bit of heat,good flavour
Cayenne-more heat, not too hot, keep myself healthy(believed to be used for medical purpouse?)
and its hot enough to burn an enemies eyes, thus protecting me.
