Such is Life...........

Well....how do I begin :onfire:
apart from alot of other downers going on,
I haven't been on much the last few months, just cant seem to nail it this season
first with a stuffed up neck which has slowed me down like an old man which started my season off late
then going away on a much needed holiday, only to come back and find that the person who was meant to be lookin after my babies,
didn't do such a great job, resulting in about a 50% loss
damn rain pouring down all the time, then a caterpillar infestation, possums, rats.....
Pods not setting, ripening and some plants still have no pods?????
...and to add to it my damm *&^%$^%#$%$# dogs thought they'd have a dance right through the middle of the pepper garden today destroying about about another 20%
and most of these just happened to be my super hots, rares and special hybrids...
sooooooooooooo it was time to take a long walk before I strung them up....I'm still tempted to rub some super hots in their mouths
when it just seems to never let up it can bring you down for awhile

anyhows just havin a bitch.....theres alway next season I guess!!!!!!

hope to get my act together soon...and hope fully get some pics of some nice pepper porn soonish (at least what I have left)
one good thing though I have a white flowering C. Pubescens with pods ripening just now, the pods are orange so its something new
I don't know of anyone else with this one

I can sympathize with you JR, my season has been almost non existent too, I've had very few pods and am not expecting many more. The weather this last Summer was crazy (did we actually have one? I must have blinked when it was here) and at one stage flash flooding in my area all but drowned them (along with much of my carpet and skirting boards). Some were completely submerged and have never looked like recovering. The shite soil at my new place didn't help so I'll be trucking in some new soil this Winter. I'm too embarassed to take photos of my plants they're that bad, what a difference from last year. I hope you get some pods soon mate.

Jr my major man, i have found through countless dilemas that they only serve to make your spirit stronger!
What is done is done and there aint no turning back the clock, as much as we would like to sometimes.

You have my support as well as many others on this forum, as well as growing a love a for peppers are also growing a love and concern for the people that make it all possible. You are a major part in the whole chilli community around these parts and your ups and downs are our ups and downs too.

Know that we are here to hear your bitches!

Thanks guys for the kind words,
I tell you what if I had of caught the buggers dancing on my peppers, They'd be running around with a super hot up there rear ends :onfire:

bhut jolokia chocolate x 7 pot/pod yellow
trinidad scorpion chocolate
bhut jolokia x cleos dragon
bhut jolokia from Burma
trinidad scorpion butch t (this one looked diff from what I have seen posted, very wrinkly and spiky!!!) pics to come in my grow log

7pot/pod congo (this one was looking great)
and various 7 pod/pots, trinidad scorpions and bhut jolokias
and a few others etc etc ( getting pissed now and drowning my sorrows)

lucky though... I still have at least one plant left of these varieties,
however they are still unripe (its coming to a close of this season...maybe a month and a half left) so fingers crossed and i still maybe ok????

at least its made me want to plant more for next season which will start for me on the 1st June (they will all be super hots, hybrids, rares and AISPES variaties next time) ... I won't let this break me
:hell:

Grant +1 on what Nova said.

Had a similar season two years ago that nothing went right and turned out to be a disaster. Next season will be a huge success for you...just know it. Always enjoy checking out your amesome grow logs.

cheers mate!
