nope, but i did sprinkle some aji pineapple powder   goes great with Caesar salad

Cubed and in the pan with a bit of apple cider vinegar, left hand milk stout and a wad of butter...some rub too. Back on the grill. I'm getting hungry.

You can make some good baked beans or chili with em too and they will get moist but also keep the char what you do is basically dice them smaller to expose non-sealed ends (basically cut in 4 pieces cross-wise)... then crock with beans or chili.

Oh man. I might try that. I have some beans in the cupboard, so maybe I'll start soaking them when I get home. Then throw them in the crockpot tomorrow morning.

They're really smoky. I used a combo of cherry and orange woods. The rub is freestyle...lots of brown sugar and paprika.
