Just loving it!
So far...me too. Seeing some whiteflies around and I have been killing em when I catch them. Sometimes they are just too fast and they live another day. Right now it isn't too bad and I will hold off with the soap spray. I am also hoping nature takes care of it.

I am seeing some of these. Does anyone know what they are? Good or bad?

They're leafhoppers Terry. Piercing and sucking insects. Usually they're not very numerous here in the east, but I guess Chuck in Colorado has them in infestation numbers. http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/gardens-gardening/your-garden/help-for-the-home-gardener/advice-tips-resources/pests-and-problems/insects/hoppers-and-leafhoppers/leafhoppers-and-planthoppers.aspx

I received some Aji Hab seeds from Evanwilliams. Plant has grown great but its flowers lack baccatum markings and my fruits are upright. I'm guessing i got mislabeled seed or a cross. Grow looks great!

squash that leafhopper i think they carry viruses too.

I have them here too, I'm thinking they're the critters that sting the maters and peppers and leave the marks on the fruit. Not a bad enough problem for me so far...I have other issues, like mother natures blowtorch..LOL

First time growing them for me, so I really do not know what to expect.

First ever garlic harvest for me. I thought the bulbs would be bigger, but pretty happy with them.

Next year I will plant more. You know is Italians....you can never have enough garlic.

Looks good, I need to harvest my garlic, I didn't last year. Stalks are all wilting now, assuming now is the right time? I mainly planted it to deter rabbits but that didn't work out.

I believe so, that is what I did.  They weren't falling over, but they seemed to be on the way out.

Nice looking pods! When during the growing process do the FM jalapeños start corking? None of mine are showing signs of corking yet.

I am not sure.  I will grab a picture of the plant for you tomorrow.  I have some on there that I am letting go to red.

Nice pods Terry... woot! :woohoo:

Thanks Rick.  Starting to se some start to ripen, but it feel like it is taking forever.

Congrats on the pods!

As for the garlic, I've been growing it for many years. For me it's a 9 month endeavor. Plant September 15th, harvest in June. I wait until the tops of 30% fall over. But not this year with mucho rain, I was concerned about rot. The soil was soaked and it was now in the mid 90's. I pulled a few and the roots were almost gone, like 80% loss. So I pulled them, about 3 weeks early. Most were golf ball sized.

What variety are you growing? I have some hard necks my brother sent me from Ohio, still in the curing stage. They should do really well up your way. They originate from Georgia (Russian) and Romania. Nice really large cloves. If they cure correctly and are viable, I can send some.
