Wow!

I've been busy this week, and I see you have been too!

Processing is half the fun/work ;)

Glad to see a nice harvest up your way. The garlic, take one and cut the top off 3"s from the bulb. If it's still green it has a while to go. This year I had to move mine inside to finish drying. To much humidity out there this summer. So when mine were still green at the 3" mark they hit the extra table under the ceiling fan. I cut the roots when the tops were done drying. You will develop a feel for when the tops are right as time goes by.
Thanks for the tip. I will snip one this weekend and see how it looks.

Want some those guajillo seeds. The dried pods I had where tasty. My yellow tepin still doesn't have any pods
Those three are in the dehydrator. Next ripe pod I will save some seeds.

Have you stuffed a MW yet, is it too hot?
I did not stuff a MW yet. Maybe next round. With the amount of pods I should finish with, I am thinking a smoked puree with them will be nice.

Can you post the jam recipe? I think it would make a nice addition to my pepper usage

This is the recipe I used.

Normally I make it with powdered pectin instead, but this time I made it with liquid pectin.  It came a little bit looser than last year because I screwed up on the amount of pectin to use.  It was my error, not the recipe.  I used 13 Mystery Wine pods for this batch.

I didn't get to check on the plants too much this week and I did some picking this morning.

Lighting wasn't great but another nice sized harvest. I finally trimned the garlic and they are now ready for storage.

Would that make the first pod the father of triplets? ;)  Nice money shot of your harvest Terry! Looks like your time is not your own until you process all that poddage... :)
