I read something similar in a different news feed a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully some of the private chili crossers will keep some decent jalapenos coming. I said it before and I'll say it again, Jalapenos are my go to chilli!

Just remember the Chili Rayado. We can always cross it with the Mild wimpy Jalapeno's.

I recently bought a jar of pickled jalapenos by Jeff's Garden. They had no heat. Upon closer inspection (in small lettering) I discovered they ware Tamed™ no-heat jals by Mezzetta products (a bell cross). Imagine my dismay not

Almost like opening up a Christmas present and finding an empty box!

Those can be fixed, add some hot powder of your choice, mix it into the brine and let them sit for a week in the refrigerator.

They are mushy anyway. The best I have found, hands down, Old El Paso in the jar! Nothing artificial and crisp!!!!! I was buying La Morena for awhile but they are mushy as well, and oily.

I bought 4 jars of Jeff's Pepperoncinis, all mushy threw them all out.
Divinias best I've found so far. Imported.
