heat The beginning of the end for Jalapeno?

Yep. Still growing this old heirloom from Mexico it's the universal pepper fits every dish.

pepper.
It sure looks a lot like the one I have here. Hot it is. I do think this one I have is the Zapoteca. I took some pictures of a ripe one. This time I did not just stick it in my mouth a chomp away😁😳

I've been lucky with the early Jalapeño it's just a pepper you love to eat. Poppers, salads, cowboy candy & the list goes on.
The plant needs very little support compared to some, & loads up ripening quickly to give you many pods to work with.

I've tried a few other Jalapeños types & colors but always come back to this one & always eat it fully ripe.

Seems like a really nice one. What is it called?

Always heard it referred to as Early Jalapeño an old Heirloom from Xalapa Mexico.
It's getting crowded with heirlooms these days. I wonder how many are real as advertised.
Yes there are so many kinds an crosses it makes my head spin. I would like to have just some basic stuff with a super hot or two for keeping my blood clean! 😁💪
