It's nice to be thought of while I am away. I am home for tonight and tomorrow. Going back to camp on Friday. Looks like I missed a lot while I was gone. I did not get a deer yet. We have antler restrictions here in PA of three points a side and the only buck I saw was too small.

Doesn't seem like these restrictions are creating any more trophies. I myself do not hunt, but I chuckle at guys at work. "we have to shoot smaller bucks"
No no no "we have to shoot less doe" *swing* ...*thump* ehhhhhhhh
Believe it or not, the bucks are getting bigger. You don't see any more of them, but at least where I hunt, the ones you see are usually bigger. That is the first spike I have seen in a long time and it was a big one for a spike. IMO they killed WAY too many does so there aren't as many deer as there used to be where I'm at. Too many bonus tags and joining doe season with buck season was a BAD idea. Now I think they are seeing that and changed it so you cannot kill any does the first week.

This is my old gym teachers son. Shot about 3 miles from my house. I'm no hunter,but it still impresses me.

I don't know if any of you have heard this story, but I saved an 84year old man this week. He layed down against a tree to take a nap. When he awoke to find complete darkness he panicked and got lost. After almost 24 hrs I found the man and fed him a half dozen microwaved hot dogs and directed him back to safety. Lesson of the story, if you are 84 yrs old do not hunt alone, and if you must, don't forget to bring your microwave hot dogs with you. I can't be everywhere all the time.
