To warm the bun and melt teh cheese. Duh! If you haven't been paying attention to the tutorial, I cook them halfway wrapped in a wet paper towel and then finish them this way. Geeesh.
 
Oh the ole wet paper towel steamer. Wet with Dr. Pepper right?

You sir however are a true lover and quaffer of that Malted and Hopped beverage we call Beer A defender of all things brewed, well that would include coffee and tea but heck you live in KY and that's in the south and so that may be ok too.
