Hey ya'll! This weekend I picked up some nice chorizo from the local hippy joint. I then forgot about it till last night and decided to cook it all up. Into the cast iron it went with garlic, onion, habanero, red bell and finished with some Hatch green chile's. Onto a tortilla with melted cheddar, squeeze of lime, rolled up and topped with sour cream and my own Notorious Hab sauce.

Now granted I didn't take a piccy of the brewhaha I was consuming but I have a witness! None other than mrs. blues. During the week I admit to consuming...dare I say it...Bud Light.
It's cheap and cold. I drink the good stuff on the weekends. Saves me money too as I have GAS(GuitarAcquisitionSyndrome).

The Blues Kitchen was squankin' out the mojo last night ya'll. Fish was on the menu as I can't get enough of the stuff. I resorted to an old standby (which I stole from my best buddy and world class fishing guide, Chip) Vietnamese black bean and garlic salmon. There are many brands of black bean sauces but the one Chip and I have stayed true to is one readily found here in the states, Lee Kum Ki. Garlicy, spicy and the fermented black beans are up front and in your face. The more sauce you use, the more you crave it.

I sauteed red onion, red bell and fresno peppers in a 50/50 butter/olive blend. Once done I set those aside and sauteed salmon filets dredged in seasoned flour. Flipped those once and then added the black bean sauce and the sauteed veg.

'Lawd have mercy! The smells coming from the cast iron and permeating the Blues Kitchen were just as intoxicating as the beer and tequila I was fueling the mayhem with. Only one way to serve this...a little tillamook cheese on a flour tortilla and fresh squeezed lime juice. Rolled up and topped with a bit of sour cream, green onion and Love 'Thang hab sauce. Truly in the realm of "sex on a plate".

Just cracked my first hosky after getting off the batphone with Sir Philliperv. We should get a chance to get together manana en el tarde.

I picked up some "alcoholic friends", notably crown royal, kahlua, and baileys for a little Duckfart session, possibly involving mrs. blues. As mrs. blues is a teetotaler (except for appletini's) it should be quite the event. She won't drink tequila anymore as the last time she started laughing so hard after a shot, it turned into a "nose hit". Bad juju. Berry berry bad mon...

I thought about possibly doing the original style of nacho's this eve...but...nah...BORING. I think rather I'll TBeeize the 'thangs and lay some serious mojo on them. All that while smackin' out another batch of hab Love Thang #9 sauce.

So...sauce, nacho's, and duckfarts!

Skipping the gym tonight to booze it up. Drink of choice tonight: Sprite Zero & blueberry vodka, lol. I doubt I'll cook anything, but I'll definitely stick around to watch the TB mayhem!
