Wow, these forums just get better and better for the infidel like me. I've been digging in, searching and reading for months. This thread never popped up. I feel the search function algorithm needs some tweaking. I care nothing for the social media wankery. But, the next time I drop a knife into my foot, while trying to cut a simple bacon sarnie in half when smashed... I'll finally have the urge to take pictures. At it again. And like usual, failed to post pics of my drunkeness, and my 1 litre bottle of Wild Turkey.
But never mind, first day off in 18 days, so rest assured, I was off my tits.
4 hours later .... damn thing stalled about 5-8C or so below target temp at around hour no. 2, so kept it on till the coals ran out, and yet still, refused to reached temp. Eventually, I got God to deal with it. Hopefully it's not shit.

And now, for the conclusion. Honey Soy BBQ and Hot wings. Once again, rest assured, I was titfaced, but as per usual, forgot to post a pic of the Wild Turkey bottle. Personally, I am a firm believer in being wasted while BBQ'ing, because frankly, doing a BBQ without drinking is like driving a car without a steering wheel.

Some Jack Daniels ribs from last month. First time really trying to cook ribs, probably ran it too hot, you see there was more Jack Daniels in my gut than on the ribs, but turned out good I think. I really don't know what ribs are "supposed" to taste like
