Aly, I don't grok to that dish just because my tastes are rather boring. (and I dig your postings)

But I reckon 99.999% of all other THP'R's would!

Of course I'd try it and would indeed have a few hoskey's in your honor.

Plus a shot of tequila.

Or 6.

Have mercy!

Guess it's better to post here than pescetarian thread or i'll never do. Also i'm still a bit drunk. Usually at that friend of mine home alcohol is really strong. Of course i'm the one that cooks and tonight was so hot and wet. So i usually can't take photos for my camera safety and my phone sucks too much to take decent photos, but today i had it along for TD...

Nearly 2,5kg of swordfish, 1,4 kg of tuna, 1kg of de shelled prawns, 1kg of calamari
Marinated in evo and with a salted mix with garlic and other stuff, good for fish.
For real men i used my TD sauce: http://thehotpepper.com/topic/55093-begin-burger-royale-part-2/page-2#entry1178047
Most garlic, basil, evo, a bit of salt, chocolate moruga, blended. Great for fish.

No marinade for calamari/prawns, just a quick bath before cooking.

Also polenta taragna (really good).

24 500cc waizen... Of course all drinked.

Also a can of 5L of another beer, just to be sure.

Random photos of cooking and stuff:

At last things with my sauce:

TBH not really hot, but good for sure.

Tonight tuna was the winner, all were enthusiast of it, with some luck cooking was perfect, still soft but well cooked.

Of course white wine:

A bottle of Giangio. No idea of what wine is that, a friend of mine bought it cause we call our host Giangi. Incidentally was excellent for fish. It has an honest 12,5 alcoholic degree.
Other is Recioto di Gambellara. TBH i don't love it but i admit is by no means the average white wine. It's really appreciated and quite expensive. Also you've seen the label. When you see something like that you won't knoe alcohol degrees, just that you are going to drink something good, as that one.

Ice cream for dessert, i haven't taken pics.

Thanks Grant... Lol i forgot the crazier game... Some of those guys are softair addicted (i dare say quite veteran and that know how to mess with weapons)... Some played at russian roulette with a revolver set at 1,5 joules aiming at legs (legit limit is 1 joule here).. Crazy guys, when they asked me to play i honestly said them to f**k themselves. :D

Essegi, beautiful fish! So wish I could grill on my balcony.

Here's my final product: chicken curry with cauliflower, carrots and yellow grape tomatoes, brown basmati rice and cucumber raita. Much leftover for the week.

I would be all over that, nice one!

Essegi, great cook up and pictures too!

Weeeellllll :censored:! That was a long ordeal.

Took the easy way out today at the store and bought one of those pre-made frozen skillet meals from Newman's Own. They are like the Bertolli frozen bag meals.  Since I wasn't doing my usual sunday meal I had a couple brewskis in the afternoon out in the garden.  Came in and opened the bag and threw it in... not smelling too hot. Looks rather, uh shitty for a $7 bag.  Finished it up, took two bites, nope... into the trash.  This is from a person who hates wasted food. Chicken made me long for McNuggets. Sauce tasted like puke/stomach acid. While I wasn't expecting that much I have had $1 frozen pasta meals better than that. Yuck, now what? :banghead:

Ate multiple ramen bowls the night before so I was ready for something more substantial.  Decided I had enough stuff to throw together as I like to call them. Cupboard DrunkChiladas.

DrunkChiladas:

What I had:

- Some frozen pulled pork from a previous smoke out (defrosted in microwave)
- Half bag of corn tortillas (two weeks past expiration)
- 1/4 bag dried new mexican chiles leftover from tamales about 2 months ago
- discount store brand can of tomato paste
- 13 pearl onions, but 2 were bad, so 11 pearl onions.
- half a bulb of garlic
- half a block of queso fresco, also leftover from tamales 2 months ago

It was a 4 1/2 beer project by the time I finished  :scared:

Pretty good, or drunk, or pretty good and drunk!  :eh: The shitty tomato paste was a bad idea, worse idea was probably dumping the whole thing in

Filled up the entire dishwasher in the process, whew, pass me a beer.

I was thinking the whole time reading that that it was going to belong in the Crappy food thread, but nope it belongs here.  Nicely done drunken chef!  That is the kind of drunken mastery that this thread was made for!
