I thought I was going to die while watching the first one simply because of growing up on Panama City Beach, FL (even though PCB isn't Vegas it still gets crazy from spring till late summer) & my late teens/early 20's were pretty much like this. I don't want to give this one too much credit yet because I don't want to be let down if it sucks, but The Hangover 2 looks like it's not going to be a let down. I can not wait for it to come out. :rofl:

Am I the only one in the whole galaxy who thought The Hangover was just alright? I am not trying to be a downer I just wonder what I missed. I think the problem is is that I didn't see it till it was on DVD for months. By that time people pretty much got my hopes up so high that it would never have been possible to live up to that hype. I hope the second one is even more enjoyable for you all!
 
I rated The Hangover a meh on first viewing. But seeing it a second time many months later made it funnier. Don't want to say this too loud in case he comes after me but Mike Tyson can't act, at all! :scared: Really let it down, when it needed an up.
 
I just saw this last night on blu ray. It wasn't tremendously hilarious, they're just trying to outdo themselves from the first, but it was enjoyable. Ken Jeong makes everything better, if you haven't seen the show Community, you should, lol.

I thought the second one was good, not great. I think it helps if you watch it with zero expectations. Don't be thinking high class cinema or groundbreaking anything. It's just a comedy.
 
I loved the movie, laughed my butt off... However it does help if your pretty drunk before you start to watch it. Comedy's always seem to be funnier while drunk.

Nope! I was just thinking the same thing.
I saw the second one too, and it was EXACTLY the same! Like, virtually identical. This was obviously on purpose, but I thought it was pretty lame.
