*******   MY GROW LIST HAS GONE SO UP IN SMOKE I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO KEEP THE LIST UP   *******
Lots of super hots and lots of unusual crosses... Along with some crossing projects of my own and some base varieties..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is where the babies were popped

My home made seedling incubator.... :P

This is my makeshift propagation unit that's in my shed.. In case your wondering I purchased a standard 6 shelf adjustable metal shelving unit for $60, painted the MDF shelves in matte white paint ( to help with waterproofing and light reflection) .. I obtained some office fluro double tube light T8 units from a renovation at my work with 5000k 32 watt globes in each slot. and set 4x of them up under each shelf above. I then spaced the shelves at varying heights to allow for different plant progressions and left the top section with no lights as I use it to propagate seeds.

The whole thing is surrounded by a big plastic bag I got from a sofa I purchased and I cut open one side and using another sheet of plastic made a flap to cover the front.

In summer I need to keep the flap open or it gets to hot but in winter its just perfect... I get a steady 35 degrees Celsius on the top propagation shelf and a steady drop down to 20-25 degree's at the bottom..

I can fit plants about 4 inches tall from the pot on the second shelf, 6 inches on the third and about 12 on the fourth and 20 on the bottom, I run them on a 16 on 8 off timer and put a fan on them every few days... and from there, I cycle them out to my small hothouse that gets about 4 hours of direct sunlight and 6 hours of reflected a day. This sits at a cosy 35-40 degrees in summer and 15-20 in winter generally.

****** Photo's and more info to come...*******

I have just planted a whole heap more crosses and varieties... I plan on going through them all over the next few days and locking in my current grow list.. It just keeps exploding out further and further, thanks a lot in part to the great members of THP who share the love .. It's much appreciated..

Yay.. Pods are really starting to form up on my plants now.. Between local floods and 40 degree scorches its been a tough run so far... but Ive done my best to keep them happy..

Aji Jobito - First pods almost ready to ripen, don't be fooled , those pods aren't that small, the stems are just thick !

TKP Special cross.. Great looking pheno !

TKP Special Cross - 'Oni' F3 - This pepper pheno seems to have a straighter twist to it.. Hopefully the other pots hold the original shape I prefer.

Pods are really starting to take hold now.. Actually getting some size on those superhots !!   Woot Wooooooot !!

This 'Oni F3' is showing signs of one of its parents 'pods are upward facing'.

This 'Oni F3' is really showing signs of one of its other parents 'bunches of pods' setting together.

The one with the flat tail seems light and airy , then you grab the other two and they feel like rocks, heavy and full, there about 4x heavier ... I'm scared lol

Looking good Kraken.  My reapers have been pretty small so far, but the latest pod set has been plumping up nicely.  Looking forward to seeing ripe ones in a month or two.

So far this season has been dissapointing, the HOT HOT HOT days that killed off flowers and buds and the heavy sporadic rains have made setting pods hard, I had to start moving around all the plants to a covered area just to try and set pods then rotate them through..

FInnaly starting to get some results and the pods are looking great.. although some plants are only showing 4-5 pods.. some are showing 50+ .. The ONI pods are really staarting to come along, big twisted bunches of craziness ... Photos to come.. Got some crazy cross pods starting o show some form too.. Can't wait to see the ripe results.

Those pods look good Kraken. Finally have a few reaper pods ripe here that will edible. Lost 95% to Fruit flies.
Tried on Friday and surprise surprise it was a little hot.... ;)

My over wintered Reaper x Mystery Cross has just started putting on some pods of size.. It has some truly twisted creatures on it.. There a much smaller pod than your regular reaper but so far their looking gnarly.

I have a bunch of fruit fly traps around mine, lost a few pods so far this season to them, but definitely worth doing, I have been pulling half a kilo a week for the last few weeks that are all fine. Qld does get hit hard by them though.

Bah Half a kilo a week... for the last FEW weeks... I'm just starting to get my first ripe pods here in Vic

Mainly goats and buts off the 2nd year bhut. A few ahi amarillos help with the weight too. But the fruit fly traps are catching their quota. I think this run is almost done until the final pod set ripens. The season has been weird here too. More high humid days in the high 20's low 30's which is not usual for Canberra. But good for chillies.

It is odd, every pod not in an organza bag is being stung, yet my Cera trap only has attracted a single fly, and I have only seen 1 x fly all season.
Hoping as we head into this cooler period of Autumn they will bugger off now.

My reapers have just started a 2nd round of flowers - about 50 flowers on each.

Here's some pod updates. Some surprises and excitement and things to look forward too..

Here's some Carolina Reaper x Brain Strains finally ripened up. So much oil in them...
