Whatever you are making use what it takes. You may be making curried pork loin on the grill.

A karahi is what they use in India, similar to what SL has there, great for curries.

I think the closest would be a CI dutch oven. But you can use any pan. Nothing special needed here!

And for dessert...

She's far more "do-able" than Tim Curry, that's for sure. Yeesh.

(loved RHPS - went many, many times as a yout)

(youts?)

lol

I might actually be able to do one of these biatches again! Just need to ruck up after the Farmer's Market - woohoo! Hope February's something in my wheelhouse.
:D

Looks like a lot of interest here. Can't wait to see homemade curries and your creations. Friday!

Congratulations LB!!!! :)
I completely understand smells and being preggers. Maybe you tell her to go to the spa or shopping for a few hours and do it. Points for you with her and us :D

Thanks...but the only time I'm "allowed" to curry...is if she's out of town. She went to Austin for a week to be with her mom having heart surgery a while back...I curried the night she left. Guess what she said first upon arriving home, and walking through the door...

That said...I might...maaaayyybe try a grilled red curry chicken...we shall see.

Retta would step over her own children just to smell curry. In fact, that's how we really met.....

....she was a temp at my old job....and I was re-heating a curried shrimp dish in the office microwave. She got up from her cubicle and followed the aroma to where I was eating.

....the rest is history.

In fact, I've been making that dish for her every month for the past 10 years.

Holy crap I just accidentally wikipediad curry.

It's overwhelming.

I wasn't doing research. It was an auto spell mistake.
I really wanted to read about "bunny", but I typed it left handed.

My right hand was doing something else.

...not that.

Plan A: So much for the Tikka Masala I was thinking of making...heh.

Plan B: haha I didn't know Pho (ffowwwww or some such) fell into the curry category. fail me. I was considering making it anyway before I found out it was a curry TD. sigh...

Plan C: Lamb with saffron and rice. Budget cuts. sigh...

Plan D: Eggplant. Thanks Stickman... :D

Plan E: hmmm.... maybe see what I can do. Schedule and funds permitting.

Key - Make what you WANT to make, even if you believe someone else will make the "same" thing. You are making a custom spice blend, and may have some other trick up your sleeve that the other person doesn't have. Also, a lot of voters prefer comparing similar dishes. You want to make Tikka Masala? Do it up!

It's not.

Key - Make what you want to make

haha. I'll see if I can make something. nah its ok. I don't have a problem with using a similar dish. just found it interesting that several thoughts of the same thing have occured. But I'll see what I can do. lol.. oh and my barber is Vietnamese. Awhile back I asked him if he could recommend something to cook; and he mentioned Pho. Having never heard of this dish before, I did some research, and thought it was an interesting proposition. But even if it was acceptable, I'm not sure I could have pulled it off today.
