food The Pescetarian

Hey y'all I done got my guac on last night.

Broke out the molcajete and started with coarse sea salt, garlic, and cilantro.

I was grindin' harder than a stripper at The Bush Co.

Tossed in 2 avo's, some cumin, lime squeezin's n' pleazin's and splooged it with Patter Farm Holy Ghost Revival Ghost Pepper Sauce.

I was workin' it y'all so much that I was throwin' dollah' bills at my 'sef.

Looks goodern' hell huh?

Lets just have a taste then.

CRAP!

Salute'.

Si senor.

Literally hundreds of thousands of chips have lost their lives due to my he-man testosterone fueled kung fu grip.

The best way to eat those 'thangs is with a limper wrist and a noodle grip.

Liberace style.

Where's the sour cream and ranch???  HAHA!!

I'd hop a flight for a chip-full of that!

I won't name the individual that mentioned earlier about the sour cream in the guac.

If his mama had heard about it she'd be tannin' his hide and good!

Lots can be added to guac but mayo and sour cream ain't on the list for moi.

i heard Liberace used to eat mayo right out of the jar.

No wonder his cajones fell clean off.

My local Try-N-Save has Mexican avo's all year round now and I aim to eat plenty of it,

Not the same as right off the tree like we had as kids in the RGV but I'll take it.

That pina' guac I made a while back was damn goodern' sheeit and I need to revisit that.

Ejole!

Had to do an encore of teh guac.

Makes me feel all caveman n' sheeit while smashin' it in a rock bowl with another rock.

While I was doin' that I was pilin' up empty aluminum cans and gettin' down brown with this.

I like to be liking this here sauce.

Goodern' hell on salmon cakes n' scheeze.

It lit my mouf' up pert dang good but I didn't break a sweat or nuthin'.

Tasted guud!

Muddy' Waters ate salmon croquettes.

I do too.

Heh - that shot makes it look like you're using a little girl's teaparty plate but a regular-sized fork. Maybe a coaster? Whatever, nice choice of background color - helps make that forkful pop, like it should be popping into my mouf. MMMmmmmm!

Why thank you G.

Years ago I bought full size square plates and platters with the same logo and the set came with 2 sets of tapas plates.

Sure do come in handy as I rarely eat a meal with more than a single item or serving at a time.

Sometimes you just got to eat what you're jonesin' 'fer.

In this case its guacamole de la pina(pineapple) and bean n' scheeze quesadilla.

Got to grindin'garlic, cilantro, couple fresh 'peno's, splash of olive oil, sea salt, and squeezin's n' pleazin's of fresh lime juice.

Had gone to the grocery sto' looking for a fresh pineapple but negative contact. Nada.

So I settled on canned crushed in its own juice. Stay away from the crap in syrup. That sheeit is like diabetes in a can.

Drained the crush pina and tossed in a couple avo's.

I was tastin' it along the way but it was all I could do to not smear the sheeit all over my body.

Its that dern' guud!

Black Betty'd some flour tore tillah's with some refried's and shredded jack & cheddar scheeze.

Splooged on some trailer park cheapass picante and dropped a deuce of the guac all up in they 'thang.

Say hello to my leetle fren'.

Killahdillah!

Y'all be seein' plenty of guac rollin' up in here this summer I reckon.

Feel free to posty up y'all's guac too.

And just to show I ain't rayciss agin' guac w/sour cream or (gasps) mayo, I'd even welcome those Yankeefied versions.

Sock it to me!

Average night at the sushi spot....

Not as purty' as JHP's but I got...

Corn tore tillah's on the comal with refried pinto's, drained crushed pineapple, shredded cabbage, cilantro and splooges of RocketMan's Mango Pineapple Habanero "The Captain's Sauce".

Dirty style.

Drum roll please.

Tasty no meat, no scheeze, and goodern' hell.

RM's The Captain's Sauce is pretty dang good. Nice heat but not overbearing, and heaps of fruity flavor without being too sweet.

I have to give RM one knock on it though.

That damn reducer on the bottle!

I wanted to pour the stuff on but had to shake like mad to get the sauce to come out one drop at a time.

That 'thang is history!

I didn't know you had a pet rabbit. Did he like them?
