Peppercorn seared tuna in the CI, organic green beans and basmati rice. The tuna is topped with a mango/pineapple hot sauce I recently made...

Kinda with grant here, but I like both things here, but separately. Please no fruit with my tuna! But looks good otherwise. And I'll take that sauce on pork chops.

I also like Grant's pescetarian app. I didn't even know that sauce was out yet. Looks good!

Looks good, i've only made tuna steak once and I used an old coffee grinder to coarse grind some pepper, rolled it in the pepper and seared it. I think your fruit hot sauce sounds good.

Well the sauce is my recently made batch, one jar didn;t seal right and it is surely a fish/poultry sauce and it was damn tasty! I know we all have our own likes an dislikes but I'd rather my sauce over a squirt of fresh citrus like the wife did. :0

He sold it at the farmer's market this weekend, so it's officially out there ...

I did manage a bottle on Friday, though, because I'd recently placed an order for the lot of them, and he was kind enough to offer me a free extra bottle and asked which I wanted - and well, the rest is obvious ;)

It doesn't have that tuna odor raw, and seared is the next best thing. With as little a cooked layer as possible lol. Center can be cool. It's great as a sandwich on pump bread with something like wasabi mayo and greens. For reals.

I like it. There's just very few fish I can do fruit with.

How's the sandy/gritty factor in clams? ... compared to say, mussels, or on the other end, scallops? ..

I'll try it once in a bit, to see.

I'd like to be liking it.

My painful recollections of other nurses reheating their leftover's lunch's in the microwaves at lunch are the PTSD ...

Tuna and salmon cooked all the way are not for me. Cat food-esque. Not even a huge canned tuna person. But as a salad it is more tolerable. I think even you like those?

Seared is a different story totally! You have to get thick tuna steaks so the rare/raw middle is the largest part, and just a nice rim of searing/crust. Personally I like it as stated on such a sammie. :)

Same here, I couldn't stand fish until I had sushi, huge difference between raw tuna or salmon vs cooked. Cooked salmon way too "fishy" for me.  Where raw it doesn't have that "Taste" at all... if that makes sense. I'll wreck some fried walleye though.

Coulda' shoulda' posted in the burrito thread but nah....

Lane snapper.

Ancho chile powder/cayenne/lime juice/zest rub/marinade.

Flat topped with just a wee bit of olive oil.

Crappy pic.

Screw y'all I just got this camera!

The snapper, black bean, shredded cabbage, pepper jack scheeze, squeezin'z n' pleazin's of fresh lime all

on a JayT'd mic'd flour tortilla.

Yeah, I went there.

Pic does no justice to this 'thang.

Truly "push grandma down the stairs in her wheelchair" worthy.

Bonus!

I got leftovers!
