The Hot Pepper said:It doesn't have that tuna odor rare, and seared is the next best thing. With as little a cooked layer as possible lol. Center can be cool. It's great as a sandwich on pump bread with something like wasabi mayo and greens. For reals.
I like it. There's just very few fish I can do fruit with.

Seared is a different story totally! You have to get thick tuna steaks so the rare/raw middle is the largest part, and just a nice rim of searing/crust. Personally I like it as stated on such a sammie.
