food The Pescetarian

TC that looks hot blue and righteous.

Love cod and bok choy.

Fresh cod here in north Texas'll run you about $11.99 a pound.

That's a good deal compared to halibut at $24.99 at the local Try-N-Save.

Add 2-3 dollah's to that if its at The Hippy Joint aka Whole Foods aka Whole Paycheck.

And even more at Central Market.

Too bad for moi.

I got spoiled on fresh fish in Alaska.

One halibut trip and I could fill the freezer for a year.

Much obliged senor.

And I know the feelin'.

I'd love to be down in Corpus or even Galveston but mrs. blues can't make the jump.

Last year an offer came for mrs. blues job to go to Tampa.

I had a boner for a coupla' months for that until it fell through.

:(

But there's still Austin.

Dear sweet ma lives in Georgetown and I'm overdue once again to go.

Austin and Portland are the only two destinations for muah ...

Oddly I don't care for Portland.

Assuming you mean Portland OR and not ME.

As a seafood lover I'll take Seattle, Anchorage, Corpus, Tampa, and Marathon FL in no specific order.

But Austin is the next best 'thang.

Marathon = Lobster reuben

Good Lord and have mercy!

You have a place to stay en route! Hell, we'll go with you!
Marathon is only 90 miles south of here (straight shot...there's only one direction to go from Miami). And one of the most beautiful drives in the world to get there.
Most people pack a cooler and have roadies on the way. But there are SO MANY awesome dirty and LOCAL KEYS places to grab a beer on the way!
(The tourist stuff is for the tourists....avoid at all cost!)
