food The Pescetarian

Unlike some of you people, I like to eat healthy.  I treat my body like a temple.

Bourbon maple glazed salmon with cilantro-lime wild rice and quinoa, and mixed vegetables with black sea salt.

Shrimps, prawns, clams, mussels and scallops...
Cooked with garlic, white wine (garganego), salt, a shit ton of black pepper, fatalii powder, parsley. More parsley and fatalii after cooking.
Photo sucks hard but soup part was epic, cleaning the pan with bread has been an experience.

Yeah that DoF is great because pretty much the whole sammie is in focus not just one mussel focal point, nice focal plane action. Beau-tee-ful.

Last night I made oyster cakes from canned oysters.

Good but kina' funky so I didna' take pics.

Needs to be tweeked some I reckon.

But tomorrow I got salmon/quinoa cakes goin' down on the flat top.

Just imagine that for a second.

And then imagine all the hell and loathing and gnashing of teeth sheeit I'm gonna'

get for posting it.

Soyrizo comparisons will be made surely.

And 'Lawd have mercy on me if'n I turn 'em into burgers and post in that thread.

The HORROR!

On another note...

We got fresh Alaskan king salmon in today.

Most likely from S.E. Alaska or Sitka troll caught.

Too early for Bristol Bay or Copper River.

$15.99 a pound.

An insult really as I got it for free for almost 30 years while living in that great state.

Okay not for free.

A commercial caught salmon costs, as an example, $15.99 a pound.

A sport caught salmon will cost you several hundred or even thousands more than that.

Fact.

Dude have a Snickers.

Why?

You write Texas haikus when you're hungry.

Better?

(Snickers = :high: )

Just done did have one.

A Snickers.

:liar

Now....

Continuing on with my current rant and existentumacations,

Just pulled out of the fridge the leftoverture (Carry on My Way Word Son) of oyster patty's.

Eaten cold and dipped into some cayenne tar tar.

Got dang.

Texture like coarse ground but packed beef.

It forces you to think "beef" because I reckon some weird-shit-ometer umami factor goin' on.

I shall endeavor to pursue this more and possibly post digitally captured images in regard.

No pis mañana even????

You've changed!!!!
