     10-4, good buddy. I fried a pound of diced bacon and used the fat for the roux and a nice handful of bacon chips for a "garnish". I'm not sure why I call it corn chowder. It's more like cream of bacon!

I made a late lunch from last nights leftover smothered turkey wings as a base for a spicy soup that left my sinuses running.

 
 
Curry paste
hot pepper paste
onions
cilantro
mushrooms
smoked sausage
small shrimp
rice noodles
fish sauce

Last nights Soup and todays soup in the works.
 
Zuccini base with chicken stock.
Joes long Cayenne in last nights soup with portobello mushrooms, very nice heat. Todays is Facing Heaven peppers.
New potatoes in today's soup with porcine mushrooms.
 
o and the noodles are Kamut flour.

Scallop, Potato. Blue cheese soup. Dill and Burning Bush peppers.
 
One of the best ways to cook scallops I find, moist tender and great tasting, general they get dried out easily.
