the weather...

The best thing about having -30C temps for a week or so is that it makes the -10C to -15C weather that follows seem pretty darn warm and toasty.;)

I am a bit late but here are a few shots from last week. I am getting tired of all this snow as well.

I am 6'1" plus I was wearing boots which makes me a bit taller.

.......don't you just love snow, especially at this time of year. enjoy it, i love barbequing when its snowing just the smell of the fresh snow landing on the bbq.

There is definitely global warming and climate change going on although people are always mislead by the term "warming". Global warming shows as an annual average and not as individual weather events. I've seen my local climate changing and gradually warming for over 20 years now and its even worse further North. You Alaskans must see lots of nasty global warming evidence

ah...no.

I lived in Alaska until 2007 for 28 years. I've seen ice out on the Tikchik Lakes east of Dillingham on June 17 in 2005. I've been in -20 below in May. Global warming? Never heard of it. Polar bears? More than there ever have been on record.

I do remember saying crazy weather somewhere here, and here we go...a few hours ago at my local bus stop. A long long way away from that cyclone.

I certainly believe in climate change. In fact in Missouri, if you don't like the climate, don't worry it will change in a day or two. But there have been 4 major climate changes in the last year. It went from spring to summer to fall to winter. I'm expecting a major change in the weather around April 15th. I think they will call it Spring.

I feel ya Josh and Buddy - we are expecting 3-6 tomorrow more on Monday and another huge one on Thursday - My dogs are walking over our 4ft fence - My camper is starting to look like a giant igloo

I think you might be waiting a long time for the bus to show up  unless they also have boats to run their routes.
