Thanks! HG eggplant tastes way better than the ones at the store, especially when smothered in chiles, and everything else my wife uses when she cooks them.FreeportBum said:Great looking plate man! Id smash that whole thing and I hate eggplant..lol cheers
Boiling the pulpo tastes all of the fishy flavor out, but leaves a delicous pile of protein to suck up all of that lime juice and chiles. The cancha corn adds a nice bit of crunchy texture, and the sweet potato works well to sooth the tongue from the burn of the aji between bites.calchilihead said:I dont even like fish but that looks pretty tasty!
I've noticed that most folk don't care for eggplant. I also have many friends that don't care for olives. Eggplant parm does seem to be the one eggplant dish everyone loves. I plan on doing a Sunday gravy soon with fresh toms from the garden, and I will definitely make a grilled eggplant parm with some of that gravy.FreeportBum said:I've grown a bunch of different varieties of eggplant over the years and just can't get into it. The only way for me that I could barley choke it down was Parmesan style. Eggplant and olives are the only thing I can't do. But I love the look of eggplant and they are fun to grow for other people. Cheers
That looks great man! I love octopus, just hard to get here super fresh. I may try doing a lobster ceviche tonight, just got off the water this morning with a dozen lobsters. CheersThegreenchilemonster said:Spicy, tangy, and ooooooooh so delicious. I love me some ceviche!

Lol! I've been using that chimney for years. I have a new one, but I'm waiting til this one completely craps out, before I fully switch to the new one.The Hot Pepper said:Looks good! Did you run over your charcoal starter?
