contest Throwdown Smacktalk

The kitchen is still all good! But the noobs ain't getting off the hook. And I do feel bad that there are some really newbie noobs that may get caught in the crossfire. I try to be clear when posting a smack talk to to total noob that it is just that... "smack talk"...

In past throwdowns all the vets are very supportive on the noobs. Kinda strange how this one got all whacked out?!? :think:



And Joey...be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!

Nah, SL, dont worry about offending me. IM an ex-sailor. I talk my garbage 'cause its fun. Do I SERIOUSLY think I'll win? Eh, who knows? And, to be completely honet with ya, I have the meat for the cookoff, but its in "ham" form, as of right now. Its hard in these parts of the woods to get it processed. I dont have a grinder, so I cant do it myself. I will some day, but now any day soon. But, I SHOULD be able to get it done by this weekend. Im also hoping that some certain spices will make it here by then, as well. That wouldnt keep me from makin' the burgers. Just not the way I WANT them to be. One is just because of a particular conversation that we've had on this thread. Ya'll will find out this weekend which one!
So yeah, dont worry about me. Its all good. Its just food and peppers. Its not the whole world, ya know? And hey, being a "newb," dont I deserve the right to ask any stupid questions I like? lol Which will actually make my winning my first crown even funnier next week...

As long as TB doesn't start tossin' his cookies, it's all good.
We'll just see who's laughin' next week....
 
Kind of had to laugh at myself for this one. I ended up with an attack of mighty spider mites, so have taken measures to eradicate, including clipping any and all leaves that had even a hint of anything not 100% healthy. Didn't immediately come to mind that the newly-exposed pods should really be moved into a more shady spot. Looks like any of the newer pods I might use this weekend will lend a somewhat ominous look to whatever food they go into!

I am having the same problem as mr Pooper It's all down to the Postman for my dish.

ewwwwwwwwwwww ran out of milk and tried to use rice milk in my coffee....FAIL....my day is now ruined.

You know, if you had picked up runnin' 40 years ago, you might not have that "collection" of ex's you posted about elsewhere! :lol:
Admittedly, as a newb, I'm still trying to figure out where Retta fits in..... and thinkin' if an ex, you're a much better person than I am, laminatin' her house!

I just realized I could be in the same boat waiting for the postman! Blade on the food processor broke, bought one off of flea-bay....don't know if it will get here in time. :(

Ouch - that kind of thing hurts. I'll admit, I love my tools, kitchen or otherwise. Hope your blade arrives on time!

Take up running when he was two? Toddler personal trainer or drill sergeant? Ever tell a kid to drop and give you twenty, are you The Great Santini?

Thanks geeme, the old one is still usable as a last resort. It will chop just fine, but where it's broken makes it nearly impossible to get clean and sanitary. It would be a one-shot use for the throwdown and then pitch it.

Just keeping fingers crossed for now~

Nope - just using his own words. Said he'd been collecting stuff for the first 40 years of his life, including ex's. Interesting that he could have collected an ex by the time he was two! :lol:
