perhaps a Tinidad Scorpion x Habanero or Congo, they maybe f1, thats why the could be producing unusual shaped pods?????

well the only thing i did with one of these guys so far was throw it into a mini food processor......chopped up very fine.......

sliced about 3 cucumbers very thin............add some salt, black pepper, chadon beni (bandhania) and the finely chopped pepper...........

stuck in the fridge for about 2-3 hours........... and ate like a chow..........i also used as a sort of "salad" for lunch....

the heat was not all that much greater than a normal caribbean hab (congo)...........similar sting, similar taste...........heat did not last to long as well........i drank orange juice with it........by the time i was done drinking the heat was gone...........but none the less........the pepper did its job............i am happy with this crop :)

Sounds good. I made a mango chow yesterday with two large mangoes, and one large yellow congo, still had some left over for today. hottt!

yes it is......

locals here only really know it by its traditional indian name "bandhania".... and we put this in everything that we season....i can almost guarantee that if you go into anybody's home in trinidad you will find some of this growing...
