What I mean is that the plant looks diseased and any buds that have started just die, even if they do open into flowers but minus a little baby pepper growing from it. They don't drop off, they just die on the plant and the petals of the flowers just shrivel up and die. I haven't seen a flower on it for months now.

No buds either?
No buds anymore either. I had another plant like it too (the Jamaican Red Hot) and that is just starting to get buds and has one lonely pepper on it.
